This 6-hour training will present an in-depth examination of the specific characteristics, dynamics and best practices in interventions for those working with families affected by chemical dependency and/or mental illnesses.
The training will provide details relative to the different models of interventions with an emphasis on the most currently used models. It will also dispel myths about irrational behaviors of family members of chemically addicted individuals due to a lack of education about the chemical underpinnings of addictive behavior.
Upon completion of this training, participants will receive 6 CEUs
