The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (DSM) is a case formulation tool that requires core clinical skills that link assessed information and outcome planning. (It is the hypothesis about the mechanisms that cause and or maintain the problem.) This 4-hour training will focus specifically on the diagnostic tools used in diagnosing mental health and substance use disorders and help participants understand why individuals have a particular problem in the first place and how to seek patterns for remediation.
