Winell J. Soures, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R) and Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) in New York. has devoted 24 years to the field of human services, assuming various counseling roles, including 17 years in psychotherapy. She is an experienced workshop and training developer and facilitator, having developed a curricula for OCFS at the State University of New York Rockefeller College’s Professional Development Program. With over two decades of experience in human services, she tackles a variety of issues such as substance abuse disorders, vocational and educational development, women’s health, spirituality, empowerment at individual and community levels, cultural concerns, nurturing healthy relationships, and applying solution-focused, goal-oriented interventions.

Her academic credentials include Master’s degrees in Social Work and Africana Studies, with an emphasis on African Psychology from the State University of New York at Albany. More than her academic pursuits, she is a skilled trainer celebrated for her ability to motivate, inspire, and connect with her clients, meeting them where they are. Her goal is to inspire and empower her clients to commence a journey toward enlightenment, self-realization, and success. In addition, Winell is a certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist, a certified Emotional Intelligence Coach, and a Certified Relationship Workshop Facilitator.
